DEVOTIONAL NO. 6 FAITH & TRUST

Perfect Love Knows the Perfect Time

Sometimes the Father waits not because He is cruel, but because He values growth more than momentary comfort.

Friends and family in Christ,

Why do we read the Bible?

So that we may understand the heart of the Author.
We know Him through His Word.

John 11 gives a beautiful example of God’s heart.

Jesus loved Lazarus, yet He did not immediately come to heal him.

Instead, He waited for two days, until Lazarus died.

Why? Because perfect love knows the perfect time.

✅ If Jesus had come immediately, the people would only have seen healing.

But because He waited, they witnessed resurrection.

Allow Me to Share a Parable

A father watches his child struggle to put a puzzle together.

The child cries, “Daddy, help me now!”

But the father waits—not because he is cruel,
but because he values his child’s growth more than momentary comfort.

When the child finally succeeds,
the child sees the father smiling.

The father never left—he simply did not help because he was training the child to experience complete joy.

If You Are Struggling

So if you are struggling and asking:

“Why has my Father in Heaven not helped me yet?”

Perhaps He is teaching you something.

Not only for healing,
but for resurrection.

Remain strong in your faith in Christ.
May God’s peace be with you.
