A path through mountains illuminated by sunrise

The most important question

Who Is God?

God is the holy Creator—loving, just, and faithful. We know Him not through human speculation, but through what He has revealed in Scripture, brought to fullness in Jesus Christ, the living Word of God.

01

One story that reveals one God

The Bible is not a collection of unrelated religious stories. From creation to new creation, one great story reveals who God is, what He loves, and what He is doing to restore His world.

02

Creator, holy, loving, just, and faithful

God gives life and order to creation. He is utterly opposed to evil, yet He seeks people who hide from Him. His justice never compromises His love, and His promises do not fail when human beings are unfaithful.

03

Jesus stands at the center

The prophets speak of Him, the patterns of the Law point toward Him, and God’s promises find their “Yes” in Him. In Jesus’ life, teaching, cross, and resurrection, the Father’s character is shown most clearly.

04

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

Scripture reveals one living God, known as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—not three gods, but the one God who makes Himself known and gives Himself to us.

05

Knowing God changes how we live

If God is faithful, we can trust Him while we wait. If He is holy, we cannot make peace with sin. If He is compassionate, failure need not be the end. If Jesus is risen, even death no longer has the final word.

Whoever has seen Me has seen the Father.
John 14:9
