Why Be Afraid? God Rules the Nations—even the Beasts from the Sea

When great nations shake the world like beasts coming out of the sea, we are easily shaken. But do we know who allowed the sea to roll? Who called the animals? The Bible shows that it was the angels of God who moved the sea and brought forth the rulers of the world—they did not act of their own free will, but to fulfill the King's plan. Find out how these four beasts submit to the Father's plan in Heaven to prepare for the coming of Jesus to the world, and what we can learn from this.

"Children, listen to this story..."

Have you ever felt afraid to see how chaotic and cruel this world is? There are nations that are at war with each other, kings who oppress, and evil forces that seem to emerge from the deep and dark 'sea'. But today, I want you to know one very important thing: God is in control of everything. Even the wild animals that come out of the sea, they submit to his command.

Imagine there are four great angels standing in the four corners of the earth. They don't move at will. No. They are waiting for orders from heaven. God sent them — not to make a mess, but to carry out His plan.

In the book of Daniel, there is a vision of four wild beasts coming out of the sea. Each of these animals is not only a scary creature, but symbolizes the great kingdoms of the world that ever existed.

The first, the Babylonian kingdom, was like a lion with eagle wings — strong, fast, and invincible. But even their king, Nebuchadnezzar, can be mad by God... and then restored, so that he knows that the Most High God is the true King.

Second, the Media-Persian kingdom — like a wild bear. They are greedy and brutal. But they were also used by God to fulfill His word: freeing His people and rebuilding the Temple.

Then came Greece - a kingdom that flew like a winged leopard, full of intelligence and speed. God used it to spread one important thing: the Greek language. This language will later be used to write the Gospel, so that all nations can read the news of salvation.

And finally, Rome — a kingdom like a terrible beast, which bites and destroys with great force. But precisely through Pax Romana, the Gospel can be spread throughout the world. God even used Roman routes to accelerate the mission of evangelizing Paul and the apostles.

"So, kids..."

Never be afraid to see the world's power that looks great. The animals did not appear on their own. They were sent. They can only move with God's permission. Even kings, even nations that look scary, all submit to the will of the Father in Heaven.

If God can use Nebuchadnezzar the infidel, Koresh the conqueror, even the cruel Rome — to fulfill His plan... then is He unable to protect our lives that believe in Him?
